Ethnography / In-Context – Gaining Real World Understanding
Ipsos conduct in-home immersions to understand patient needs and inform development/innovation of devices in multiple areas such as continuous glucose monitors or remote cardiac monitoring. In-context research is key to gaining a deeper understanding of patients using particular medical devices. Typically the Ipsos moderator and small client teams will spend part of a day getting to know the patients, shadowing them as they go about their day. During the visit, the team will then be able to see first-hand how the devices fit into their lives as well as learning about the constraints.
